Working in conjunction with the School Violence Watch network, the Students Who Care system enables schools to empower their students in the proactive mission to prevent school violence. The system enables students to anonymously and securely report rumors or threats of violence they are aware of to officials and concerned administrators within their own school system or community. Requirement, a school must be both a member of the School Violence Watch network and have configured their account to use the Students Who Care system. Using the Students Who Care system, teachers, principals, school safety officers, all may be the "first to know" and have time to respond before violence has the opportunity to occur. We believe that students are the key to helping prevent school violence. This is the reason why we provided this system with the ability for students to report what they know in complete anonymity and security. Now, students can make a difference that truly counts. All they need to know to make a report is the School Violence Watch Member ID of their school, typically provided by the school to the student. This ID is unique for each school participating in the School Violence Watch network and is assigned at the time of their enrollment. Frequently Asked Questions
